Jax & the Nuclear Power Plant

Another abysmally late posting...

Recently, I had the chance to go possibly the oddest meeting I have ever attended. It took place at a disused nuclear power plant just across the border into Germany that had been converted into an all inclusive holiday resort. The meeting room was the control room with dials on the wall, and the cooling tower had been turned into a climbing wall and painted with mountains.

It also had areas with an egyptian theme, chinese theme, wild west theme, all a bit tacky, but hilariously weird. The food and drinks were all you can eat, but the beer was dutch and the food was mostly dutch too. Turns out that the place is owned by a dutch guy and caters to dutch tourists who want to go abroad for holiday, but not too far abroad. Still, a good crowd and a fun trip.
